Carroll
Smith General Manager- Carroll
received his Business Degree from Eastern Michigan University
and spent the next twenty-two years building a career within two
separate divisions of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. For
the first twelve years of his career, Carroll was Plant Human
Resources Manager with Goodyear's Motor Wheel Division at three
locations including Ypsilanti, MI, Chatham, Ontario and Lansing,
MI. In 1981, he joined Goodyear's Kelly Springfield Tire Division
in Cumberland, MD as the Plant Human Resources Manager and three
years later moved into the Operations Manager position. In 1986,
he moved to Kelly's Freeport, IL plant as Operations Manager.
In 1990, Carroll opened the Management Recruiters office in Janesville,
WI. The office has experienced continued success through out the
years helping companies fill their managerial and professional
staffing needs.
Carroll's
specialties are primarily Senior Management and Mid-Management
positions within manufacturing companies. Carroll also manages
projects with companies that have multiple openings.

Chad Allen- Chad is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He is a tenacious professional offering more than 6 years of experience recruiting high impact professionals across all disciplines. Prior to joining MR Janesville he worked for a major consumer products organization in Human Resources managing generalist responsibilities and recruiting top talent from the marketplace.
Upon joining Management Recruiters in 2001 he used his contacts and knowledge to develop a desk specialty in Plastics, serving clients across the United States. Chad is active in recruiting for small and large clients spanning medical, automotive, consumer and industrial manufacturing at all levels.
Chad is married and has a young son.

Michele Davis-Michele is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater with a major in Human Resource Management. She has been recruiting individuals for all levels of manufacturing since graduating from college. Prior to joining the Management Recruiters of Janesville team, she was the Human Resources Manager at a corrugated sheet plant. Michele’s responsibilities included all aspects of HR including Recruiting, Employee Relations, Training and Safety. When Michele joined MR of Janesville it was natural for her to choose a desk specialty in the Paper Industry plus she also specializes in the Food and Consumer Products industry. Michele recruits for all types of professionals including: Engineers, Human Resource Managers, Production Managers, Controllers, Sales and other managerial and professional staffing needs.
Her recent assignments include Design Engineers and Sales reps within the corrugated industry.
Michele also keeps her time busy with a very active toddler and her husband. |

Doug Penterman-Doug graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh with an emphasis in Business Administration and majoring in Human Resources Management. He has worked Corporate Recruiting and Staffing management positions within the manufacturing sector which lead to his search and placement background. He has over 15 years of combined experience in HR and executive recruiting, and is dedicated to finding top talent for organizations at all levels.
Doug is CSAM certified, a Management Recruiters benchmark, which maintains a level of professionalism and ethics to the search process. Doug is dedicated and focused on positions at various levels within the automotive, consumer products, and general manufacturing sectors.
